Interviews

Adam Interview
AA108B

Interview to be conducted in front of the classroom using the Lecturers computer with the big Centiq having some work on it, and the big TV to features some shots of the environment.

Jen Interview
AA109

Similar to Adams interview, the interview will be conducted on the PC with the big Centiq with work once again being displayed on it, and the big TV shall feature 360 pan of characters

Michael Interview
AA108A

Interview will be conducted on the lecturers PC at the front of the classroom, with work being displayed on both the TV and the monitor. An animation show reel will be presented on the TV

Rhys Interview
AA207

Interview will be conducted on the lecturers PC at the front of the classroom, with work being displayed on both the monitor and the TV. The TV will features the most over complicated Blueprint you have

I'm pushing forward with the Interviews because in all the videos I have watched not one of them wasn't largely comprised of developers being interviewed. The reason behind all the different rooms is the lecturers said it would be good if we looked like we worked in a large area like a professional studio. (all documentaries videos are a sham like this they said)

Key notes for Interviews
  • Each interview should make it obvious what you do (hence why I have chosen those specific places for Jen and Adam, this was recommended by the lecturers)
  • All interviews are scripted so to avoid words like um, ah and the lecturers particularly stressed this one Rhys sorry (just a bunch of math)
  • Don't over complicate your work keep it simple like you're explaining to five year old
  • Be, look and talk professionally don't mumble (Yes I'm aware this only really applies to me)
  • Avoid words like Bog standard, Typical and Generic
  • People should be amazed at work you have done
  • Talk about problems you have solved but once again keep it simple and brief as we only have 1 min and 30 seconds
We can rent proper cameras from Adam at FADE, we can speak to a kylie in Dynever she know about lighting and interviews and a few other people if we need assistance on creating good interviews.
